Let me introduce myself

From a young age I was certain that I wanted to travel the world. One day opportunity knocked on my door and I took the plane to Canada where I stayed for six cold, cold, very cold months.  After six months, when the weather was warming straight up, skipping spring and going straight to summer, I had to leave Canada.
So logically I went to France to learn French in order to go back to Montreal, and enjoy summer and more cinnamon pecan twisters.

But once in France I loved being there and stayed for four years. I was mainly doing season work and falling in love with a Frenchman. As you do.
It was hard work but I loved the joie de vivre and I integrated very well in the french lifestyle.
Du vin, du pain, du fromage et l'amour.
During my time in France, drinking, eating and amouring,  I met some English students and they suggested I should go to London.
Alright then, the Frenchman was no more and my suitcase and I went off to London. Cold, wet, crazy London. The city where you can go right or go wrong.
I got stuck somewhere in the middle. Learned how to hold my liquor, working insane hours to hold that liquor, and have a blast in the meantime.

I was pretty sure I was not meant to die young, so I left raving London and went off for some fresh air and landed in Switzerland.

Yes Switzerland. Opinionated, not very fond of foreigners Switzerland.
And because of the last written, my stay did not last to it's full aim, which was earning lots of Dosh,
So I was banned from Switzerland for a year. What was I thinking of coming to their country with no permit to work in a restaurant and doing their disches and serve them white wine. In the morning.

So back home it was. Not my birth town, God no no no,  but mighty Amsterdam. The Relaxing City, which hosts 600.000 bicycles and where I have been for the last 12 years and opened a shop to sooth by shopping addiction. Yes, I caged myself after all these years and started my own business. And this is what the blog will be all about people. My shop, my findings, exhibitions I organize, an ordinary day in my shop.
